Condolences–it sounds like she had a good run. We should all be so lucky to pass with our loved ones close at hand.

Unrelatedly, you guys do fantastic work here. I almost had a heart attack when I stopped by the old URL and it wasn’t there anymore. Thanks for doin’ what you do.

For those of you who didn’t know her … her claim to fame in our family is that she always remembered everyone’s birthday by sending us a check for ten dollars. A classic legacy from a generation that believed that family is all.

She’ll be missed.

i’m sorry for your loss, alex. i suppose some consolation might be found in that she lived during a span of time that saw so many truly amazing advancements and changes, and that she lasted far longer than many of us could ever hope.

i hope the births go smoothly and everyone is healthy and happy.
