Japan is funny..so many people refuse to take their paid vacation from their company jobs, so the govt here implemented many national holidays (think i mentioned before, "Sea Day", "Nature Day", "Sports Day", etc). New Years is the main holiday in Japan (think Chinese New Year style, everyone goes to their hometown, huge dinners, etc). So the country basically shuts for about 6 days. I'm taking a little extra on top, going back to the motherland that is Brooklyn, USA...and not ready for the cold from the looks of it!
