Can't figure out why he never landed another managing gig after leaving the Dodgers..though have read he has many interests outside baseball to keep him busy..he's well known here from his two seasons with the Yomiuri (Tokyo) Giants in the mid-1970s (the Giants of course being the Yankees of Japan).
