Shall we end the season now, proclaim the Jays world champs? Should TB management fire Joe Maddon? We aren't a 1/4 of the way through the season, a lot can happen between now and the trading deadline, and eventually the end of the season. It’s Early; it’s April seems to be the theme in the Yankee clubhose. Talk about deja vu. I guess there is no sense of urgency with this club, which kind of explains a lot.

Sense of urgency? In April? C’mon… Tampa Bay’s in last place, Toronto’s in first. Shall we end the season now, proclaim the Jays world champs? Should TB management fire Joe Maddon?

We aren’t a 1/4 of the way through the season, a lot can happen between now and the trading deadline, and eventually the end of the season.

Leaving aside the pitching, we strand way too many runners. And Tex, our number three hitter, has done nothing. Robbie's providing plenty of production to make up for Alex' absence. You bring back Alex and obviously it will make a difference (especially if he's protecting Tex, presumably), but there are enough bats on this team as is for them not to be a game under .500.
