RE: Bruney's "mea culpa"...

Honestly, this "Carl Pavano Syndrome" is becoming more prevalent in MLB than we think! Lou Gehrig is rolling over in his grave, broken fingers and all!

The day I believe in anything from the pie holes of these "genius" current millionaire members of the MLBPA again, will be the day after I've been lobotomized and join the North Korean satellite "in orbit" singing patriotic songs!

sure i'm glad i had friends in town from out of state over the weekend ... much easier to deal with being swept by the Sox when you aren't able to watch it in all its excruciating detailed glory

I agree that they sold low on Tabata, which was not smart obviously, but its not like his stock has soared since going to the Pirates. What with his wife's black market baby ring or whatever the hell it is she's into.

I agree that Tabata was the key to the deal. I doubt that Kartsens and Ohlendorf can maintain their current levels of production, not with FIP's of 5.79 & 4.27 respectively.

I thought the Nady trade was bad at the time, but not because we were losing Karstens and Ohlendorf. I see nothing in them.. I thought it was early to give up on Tabata for such a minor return.
