Watching this on MLB.TV timeshifted, so just finished with the 10-run inning and Melancon is on. What a hell of a game. Phil was philthy, and the offense shook off their slump. Melancon now delivering a groundball as expected. Does he remind anyone of Wetteland from the back when he’s standing on the mound?

That’s why I take statistics in this game with a grain of salt. Between the ridiculousness of “official” scoring and umpires’ retarded strike zones, they make shit up as the games go along… rendering stats hardly a true indication of what actually happens from day to day.
