Orel has been pretty good since he's been on. berman's been wearing on me for awhile now. i watched the whole game on espn and he was too much. that said, it was MUCH better than john/joe/silver one phillips. I wasn't paying close attention, and on a fly ball to CF to end an inning, his call was "Fly ball to straight away CF, Damon makes the catch" (or whatever). When I looked up at that, the two players in the shot were Damon and Melky. "Why would Melky play LF and Damon play CF?" I said to my wife. So I re-wound on the TiVo and, lo and behold, Melky (playing CF) caught the ball, Berman just missed the call. Other than that, for the bit I watched, the Berman-Orel H combo was surprisingly ok. This draft is curious to me, because all the experts say they have no idea what will happen. I believe them, but I find it a little suspicious, seeing as this is the first time MLBN is broadcasting the draft, and what better way to build up excitement . . . but I'm probably being too cynical.
