[8] Awesome, Shaun. And props to Knuckles [5] for bringing up Canyonero, which is really the superior metaphor.

FWIW, I've been seen games at the new stadium from the nose-bleeds, bleachers, $400 box seats (at preseason prices), and press box, so I've had a full range of experiences there.

[5] Can you name the stadium on River Ave drive, has a steak restaurant and seats 52,325?

New Yankee Stadium! New Yankee Stadium!

Well, the ball won't travel so far with the old one knocked down, it's the country-fried stadium endorsed by two clowns!

New Yankee Stadium! New Yankee Stadium!

3 blocks long, 3 blocks wide, 65,000,000 tons of American Pride!

New Yankee Stadium! New Yankee Stadium!

Top of the line in showcasing sports, unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

New Yankee Stadium! New Yankee Stadium!

She blinds everybody with her oversized HD screen, she's a soul-crushing, wallet-smacking, stadium machine!

New Yankee Stadium! New Yankee Stadium!
Yah New Yankee Stadium! Woah New Yankee Stadium!

(with a million apologies to the Simpsons, and YS2.0, which I haven't even seen yet)

To be fair, the Homermobile gets way better gas mileage than the Canyonero.

Alright peoples, I have a little baseball literature quandry. Normally I'd put this on a NOTD thread, but this will have to do for today.

I have a Barnes & Noble gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket and I would like to pick up a Babe Ruth biography. Obviously the two definitive ones are the Creamer book and Leigh Montville's one from a few years back.

Has anyone read either of these or both? Which one should I go with?

[0] It’s gaudy, cacophonous...

I'll stay out the debate that Cliff's other comments about NYS will no doubt generate. But this one observation is spot on. It's as close to an objective truth as a subjective evaluation can get.
