The fruit stand was the first thing that I really took notice of my one time at the Stadium ... I walked in, saw the fruit stand, and said to myself, "Hey!"

For those looking for it, it's just inside Gate 4 in the hall on the right that leads to the Great Hall. Or, from the Great Hall, it's on the right of the stairs leading up to the *cough* martini bar.

or at least it was in April . . .

The fruit stand is just down the hall from the sushi stand in the food court. You can grab a healthy meal of a Bronx Roll and some fruit for desert with 1/3 the calories of a bucket of popcorn..

That was supposed to be in my write up of the first exhibition game against the Cubs per my wife's orders (she's a fruit fanatic and was beside herself about the fruit stand), but I forgot amid all the other details I was trying to capture. Better late than never!

Of course the fruit (like every other consumable at the Stadium) cost an arm and a leg. When I first went to the Stadium, I saw this. I was about to buy a banana until I realized it cost almost $2.

Btw, the water fountain near my section already is broken. Fortunately, a bottle water only costs $4.
