Serena was pretty funny laughing at herself at the MTV awards last night. Called in to introduce one of the performers (forget which) she made an awkwardly scripted mention of her foot fault. It was a clunky and forgettable line, but at least she can begrudgingly smile about her unfortunate meltdown. Suggests to me she was embarrassed, and won't let it happen again. Taking my pop to Joba v Angels From Hell tonight. We'll be way back behind home plate in the upper deck taking in the gorgeous views, Sept. night, and playoff-preview-ish atmosphere. Going to games with my dad is usually a chilled out affair in which it doesn't matter much who wins, as long as we get to hang for a few hours. Peanuts and ice cream are a must. But tonight we're heading to the Stadium hungry for a Joba victory against these damn Angels - and something tells me we're not going home disappointed. Go Joba! Go Yanks!
