the troll thing wears on me after awhile. it’s needless. and gets rather annoying.

robbie saw 9 pitches in 4 AB’s tonight and made a costly error. he had 2 hits though, also. he’s had a boatload of multi-hit games this season.

In 1962…when the Giants were in SF. In game 7, McCovey hit a line drive out to end the series with the tying run on base (it was 1-0). Willie Mays was on deck.

[672] There is a very good chance for a more or less “traditional” match up in the WS this year. If the POs started today, you would have the Yankees, Sox, Tigers in the AL and the Dodgers, Phillies, and Cardinals in the NL. The only “new” teams would be Colorado and the Angels (who are, after all, 40+ years old).
