Alex and Cliff…. The first blog I visited regularly was ‘Cliffords Big Red Blog’. Shortly after I found the Banter. After 5 or 6 months, Cliff joined the Banter and sealed the deal for me. What year was that? I know I shared, and was supported through many bad moments. In 2001, I was in tears of frustration. In 2004, I was just numb with disbelief. It’s really, REALLY nice to finally celebrate THIS moment here at the Banter, with all the Banterers (Banterees?).

Thanks guys. The Banter has been a big part of my life. I can’t imagine following the Yankees without it.

Ive only been a fan since 03, & been following this blog since, most everyday. Thanks to Alex & the whole staff but most especially to the banterers. You guys are the best, an intimidating bunch that Ive adored & looked up to & admired for their wit, love & devotion to the Yankees. I can never go toe-to-toe with the discussions here but I follow every banter/cheer/curse/criticism/stats/etc you guys do tirelessly everyday. You’re one hell of a unit here. I hope to be counted among the Yankee faithful blessed to have another WS Championship (my first as a fan!). What a feeling.

And I just wanna say what Ive always wanted to say since Gm 1, Chase Utley, you can kiss my ass :P
