I never read that article or knew the story. Blows my image of him as mr. self-confidence w the porn star stache. He was a colossus in his Mets era. as a Phillies fan, I have a natural antipathy for the mets and, for Hernandez’s Cardinals, who were in the same division at the time. (I especially hated Ted Simmons). All that said, I love the Mets broadcast on SNY. Hernandez and Darling in that order. You can have Vin Scully. Give me that conversation.

[6] Yes. It was grand to see the gang back in action. My wife and I couldn’t believe it was the season finale already. That’s a shame. Here’s to the 8th season. What else are they going to do but get richer? Time to go respect some wood.
