Then of course there was the thought of calling it the Magnum P.I., but there were concerns that consumers wouldn't know if it were specifically meant for a man, a woman or both.

I think Alex meant the name sounds like the name of a vibrator. I have one (pepper mill!), and it doesn't make a sound like a vibrator at all.
Uh.
Not that I would know.

[0] Never mind that it sounds like a vibrator.

Alex, for all intents and purposes, the way you described it makes it one. Still, I agree that there's nothing so discouraging and frustrating as a weak grinder.

And speaking of grinders, I recently stopped in at 123 Stop Deli on Rt. 9 near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties; my mother would by heroes there for years on her way to work at GM in Tarrytown. They had the most deliriously tasty and piled-up heroes I'd ever seen and sampled in my life. So for nostalgia's sake I stopped in and ordered a turkey club.

Sadly, they are Under New Management, and suffice to say the magic is long gone. In fact, they took the color, flavor and texture with them and left me wishing I had ordered at Mickey D's along the way instead. (Sigh) Can't go home again.

But to end on an up note, they opened a Jimbo's in my neighborhood, so we are back to Diner Burger Spectacularrr... >;)
