I actually have to go in at noon :-( but it is better than previous years when 8″ of snow didn’t close down the university. At least I got to sleep in with the hounds.

Snow day in the cubicle for me. Would much rather be home with the wife and kids. Weekday snow days sure ain’t what they used to be.

[1] That park might be good for Wang – good luck to him. If he’s actually ready for Opening Day though, I’ll be very surprised.

It just started snowing here, southwest of Boston, and we are supposed to get hammered this afternoon, just in time for the evening commute. I am working from home as a result, and I think most people who can, are. They want to avoid what happened a couple of years ago, when a heavy snowstorm that was going to happen during the evening commute resulted in everyone – schools, government, businesses – sending everyone home early, at the literal same time. People were stuck in traffic for hours; some school kids didn’t get home until after 9PM. It was a nightmare.

[3] I’ll be back at home tomorrow, not like I’ll be escaping any snow anyway. Though on Friday I might have to head into the office and take the pain in the ass 4/5, that’s usually a pain for me. I think the 4/5/6 has more rude people than any other line in the city. Maybe cause I grew up taking the A or 1 that I feel the people there are much nicer.
