I live in Bensonhurst and I think I’m sitting pretty pizza wise. We have Spumoni pizza and not far away is DiFara Pizza. I’ve never had better pizza than either of those places.

Been gone a long while, have heard Williamsburg is now midwest-hipsterville..still hard to bleieve that when i was growing there were only Puerto Ricans or Hasidic Jews there!

[4] there’s a kosher pizza place in the 5 Towns that’s pretty great.

yankees spring training will be on espn bbtn at 3:30. of course, i’ll be leaving the house right before that and my damn vcr just died the other day. (yes, i use a vcr, not some fancy dvr stuff…)

is Amore Pizza still on 14th, not far from St. Marks? that place was amazing!

the pizza in the above photos, does nothing for me and pizza is pretty much my favorite food. i had 2 great slices here last night. thank god, i found a decent pizza joint here in Atlanta.

i hope to grab a coupla NY slices next week. if not at the ol’ neighborhood joint (which, unfortunately, has new crappy owners. still great pizza though…), then at penn station, on my way into the city. fuck, what’s that place called. one word, starts with a “C”, right by the LIRR. big, huge, excellent slices. why am i drawing a blank? dammit!

I’ve been to the new Motorino down by 14th…it is pretty damn good. But its a yuppie pie nonetheless, give me Grimaldi’s or L&B and I’m happy.

and yes, Williamsburg is maybe the most irritating neighborhood in any borough.
