- Rarely a bad idea to go with Thelonious Sphere Monk
- Lotsa big tree limbs, and I mean BIG, coming down in Inwood Hill Park this morning. Out in the country they call those “widow-makers”. So I called my wife to tell her to send a search party if I wasn’t home at the usual time.
- Haven’t been commenting much lately, so I’ll take this time to say: This be the best blog out there right about now. You gonna keep up the Beato’Day/Taster’sCherce/Arto’Night mix up during the regular season ABelth? It’s awesome, I have to say. I’d vote for another week (or more) of the Original and then As Sampled By pairs.

Only 1″-3″ forecast here, meaning no snow day But at least it is payday and Monday is March 1. February at least is shorter and has pitchers & catchers. January has none of that. I am so ready for winter to be over. As are the hounds.

i’m at work – we’re closing at 1pm though, but we have a conference call at 3:30pm we’ll have to do from home – blah.
seems like fewer people out in manhattan than from the storm we had a few weeks ago – maybe lots of people are making it a long weekend.

[4] that is an interesting little tidbit.

Related to the baseball part, not the stairs (only rain in New England, and the sun is shining now):

“Jeter is in a multiple tie for 522nd on the all-time list and his next triple will tie him with Carl Yastrzemski, Joe Torre and Ruben Sierra, among others.”

That made me smile. I hope Jeter knows this. That’s a good link of where Jeter stands in a bunch of hitting categories, both Yankee-wise and MLB-wise.

Al, same dicey-ness on the 11 flights of the 215 stairs. There was one set of footprints, I followed them all the way down to Broadway.

Made it all the way in, there’s a note on our door – office closed. Dang.
