[33] , [34] I generally use Firefox, but I've had the same problems on Chrome and Opera as well.

I don't normally have that problem on other wordpress sites.

[30] yeah, i am. i mentioned either here or on the last post (tiger). word press has me re-enter my password all the time. half the time, it doesn't even work, and says to log in again. i guess word press is still in spring training mode...

i use Firefox. i haven't had to close any browsers, just refresh...

[31] the free beer is cool, though Indian beers like King Fisher, are usually too pale for me. yeah, i wouldn't do the picture, either...

With Safari I have to refresh the page after I log in (not restart the browser). With Firefox, no problem.

[29] The dreaded ghost chili! The phaal supposedly has ghost chili, but I don't believe it. I have one sauce (1,000,000 scoville) with it as an igredient, and it ridiculous.

[22] You win a free beer and the option of having your picture posted on the restaurant's website. I never got around to sending them a photo.

[23] To be honest, I didn't think it was hot at all. In fact, it was very tasty and I would order it aside from the novelty. I've been eating very hot things since I was kid, so I probably have an unusual tolerance. Instead of Tabasco or Franks, I use 500,000-1,000,000 Scoville unit hot sauce, so I'm a bit of a psycho.

We do the same for Easter with horseradish and kielbasa.

PS - anyone else have login problems on BB? I often have to close the browser and reopen to get it to work.

Ah, the classic Hillel Sandwich. Gotta love it.

At our family seder, we take the whole horseradish thing seriously. In fact, we take it way too far, to the point of staging a contest to see who can construct and down the most obnoxious Hillel sandwich possible. And that means putting an extreme amount of the white stuff (fresh ground, from The Pickle Guys) on it. Over the years this contest (waged only among the family's males) has reached the point where we're putting horseradish on everything, including the brisket. But I have to tell you... take a hard-boiled egg... take a bit off the top...sprinkle some black pepper on that sucker and top it off w/ some white horseradish. Heaven.

For the record: the horseradish was freshly ground -- with a little kosher white vinegar added - had to buy it at a Hasdic grocery store. The Hasidim were buying the actual radish and grinding it at home. Maybe next year I'll do the same. Also - I like the taste.

[7] [17] Funny I was gonna suggest the phaal too it's outrageous ... to us Americans ... to an ol' Indian lady I met there, she said it was no big deal ... if you finish one dish (even if you share!) Brick Lane will give you a free beer on East 6th Street just east of Second Avenue

[17] so, whatjya win for finishing the phaal?!

just like i saw when he was w/ detroit, "dancers groin rust" takes some, um, interesting routes to the ball in center. lotsa turning, turning back, cutting the other way, putting his head down, changing course, etc. yet, he still seems to find the ball. interesting.
