		<description>It is annoying and dumb for baseball discussions to devolve into a statistics recitation.  It is good to see baseball statistics finally taking into account the concept of deviation from the mean.  I wish we would see more of that.  But it is most important that baseball statistics, or those who relentlessly tout them as the definitive piece of evidence in a discussion, start to understand the concept of what is and is not a statistically significant difference. You hear people mention small sample size, but never what implication that holds for determining whether a difference is significant.  When are we going to start seeing Z tests in OPS comparisons?</description>
