Great art.

"What if?" works immeasurably better in real life than in a comic books. In comics it's sort of silly and redundant: "What if this thing that didn't happen didn't happen and something else didn't happen instead?"

Stellar work here. I've always been a sucker for the what-if game, especially the older stuff, imagining a Milwaukee outfield with Aaron in right and Mays in center, or the other one with the Giants passing on Clemente who would've fit nicely alongside Mays. And what about that trade that was supposedly agreed upon between the Yanks and Sox, Ted Williams straight up for DiMaggio? Apparently nixed when the Sox asked for throw-in, a minor-league catcher named Yogi Berra.

So I love the what-if game -- but this one made me a bit ill. Every time I read those doomsday scenarios about how Steinbrenner wanted to trade Rivera or how the Houston scout begged the Astros brass to draft Jeter it somehow still makes me nervous. It's the craziest thing. So please don't talk about it anymore.

So rarely is such mutual talent, interest, and spare time combined to produce a quality product like this. Very impressive DeRosa brothers! I look forward to the rest of the series. Serously, somebody give these guys a book deal or something, it's a crime that I'm reading this for free!
