And I see GMaps has crossed a bittersweet threshold: Its satellite view now shows the new park in place, and the vacant lot where the old park used to be. They'd held out for a while. Now it <i>really</i> feels gone. The description of Sheppard’s “escape route” got me feeling nostalgic, so I headed over to Google maps to relive the ‘hood a little from here in NC.
