I stopped paying attention when Jome Run Javy iced the game. I see he pitched fairly well after that though

Is it my imagination, or does this team have many games a year, where they sleepwalk through the first 8 innings, and then have great ABs in the 9th, score some runs, and come juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust one hit short of winning.

I don’t think it’s a stat you can look up, but I swear this shit is getting commonplace.

And………..
there’s nothing wrong with swinging at the first pitch
IF you guessed correctly or
IF it’s a fat one.
But why swing at a borderline pitch?
