Phil Coke entered the game with a one run lead in the seventh last night. He walked the first batter. Sac bunt, then Phil beaned the next guy. And the next guy. Ryan Perry came in for Cokey at that point, and he walked in the tying run and then Delmon Young singled in what would be the winning run.
I'm sure Johnny bought him a beer after.

[3] Dude, good to have you back. How's our new little Yankee fan? Been checking out any games? You'll have to come to the office for a "morning meeting" some day when CC just happen's to be pitching. I got a big screen on me Mac.

[2] Mattpat11, you'd go insane watching a lot of Japanese baseball..think of Dice-K at his most nibbling..that + the endless sacrifice bunting can make watching the game a bit of a chore..thankfully the non-stop cheering sections and regular deliveries by the beer girls make it fun in the stands.

Honestly, I'd rather Phil give up 0-2 singles than go 0-2 and start with those God damned waste pitches. There's nothing more infuriating in the age of pitch counts to watch someone get ahead and then throw three straight no-one-could-ever-think-about-swinging-at-these pitches like Phil so often does. Either way he was not at all fun to watch tonight

The Yankees hand their longest winning streak since the All-Star break to A.J. Burnett. Maybe a new month and a weak-hitting team is what he needs to get on the path to being right.

Worked for me, Sept.1st already over here and the 40-man roster call-ups have team OK Jazz fighting fit & focused! Of course, this is AJ Richard Lewis Burnett we're talking about here..
