The truth is, our great players are even greater, because they are Yankees. There were/are many great players, but if they wore/wear the Pinstripes, their immortality is greater.

And George made sure that tradition will carry on.</description>

		<description>Oh please, it&#039;s perfect that Steinbrenner&#039;s plaque is bigger than the rest of them - and funny, too.   It&#039;s like the mini-Stonehenge from Spinal Tap in reverse (instead of being undersized by mistake, it&#039;s oversized on purpose).  I smiled when it was unveiled, and would have laughed out loud if it wasn&#039;t such a solemn occasion for everybody who personally knew him.   Don&#039;t change it.  It is perfect.</description>
