Like Vazquez, Burnett is completely clueless. After the game, he talked about “not letting this bother him,” that he had pitched well the last two games. Really? Are you that dense?

Performances like this, happening over and over, SHOULD be bothering you.

It’s like the fat guy talking to Seinfeld on the subway, saying “I’m not ashamed of my body.” And Jerry says, “That’s the problem. You should be.”

Listening to Girardi making excuses for Burnett on the post-game leads me to believe that he must absolutely love being butt-fucked on a daily basis by Burnett – there is NO other possible explanation.
