Firing Yogi. A true low point. And to get his friend Clyde King to do the dirtywork, very bad.

So far, it's being reported that the Yanks will not pursue either Werth or Crawford, while staying mum on Lee. Could be they deal with their core guys first, then go after Lee with whatever's left... there's a very real possibility that they sign Lee as their only free agent and address the rest of their needs via trade. Good news is they plan to let Jesus compete for starting catcher.

As for A Kings Legacy, I thought I was the only person who knew the book. Yogi Berra wrote the forward, or at least he is credited with writing the forward. It is pure joy.

"While he was a scout, he observed a lot of things; he had to because he was a scout." Who couldda known that Yogi knew what a semi-colon was?

"We came together on the issue of making Dave Righetti a relief pitcher. They didn't think we could do it, but we did it."

"He's not a bad golfer, but he cheats on his handicap. I don't know what his handicap is. He won't tell you the truth."

"Clyde is also very resilient. When I heard about him falling out of his tree house, I said to myself, 'what the heck is he doing in a tree house?' "
