The stuff about his childhood is good and he's got some great insights about the making of some of the records and about songwriting and producing in general. But a lot of it is full of shit. Not in an offensive way, just an oblivious, flip, self-absorbed rocker kind of way. Great airplane read--if you can lug it around--or something to take out of the library. Unless you are a Stones freak, it might be too much of a doorstop to keep around. Yeah, his voice in the book is cool, very readable.
