I actually went to the screening of The Last Waltz. I was a wee bairn and felt very important. Of course my brother outdid me by actually being at the concert in SF. Oh well. Loved it anyway.

I can’t believe how many times I’ve checked my computer today. What a nutty thing it is to be a fan. I also have a feeling he’s staying in Texas. I’d like to get through the rejection already.

This is an amazing DVD. I played the crap out of this a few years ago.

(2) When Mavis whispers “Beautiful” at the end, the first time I watched, it made me tear up a bit. They are amazing singers, and this version is perfect.

I love Neil’s “Helpless” rendition on Last Waltz. I remember reading a review and they said his nose looked like a margarita glass.
