		<description>P.S. Re: the BJ Abstracts, I have all the nationally published copies -- 82-88. I got the first one when I was 11; it changed my life. I was already a huge baseball fan, but the Abstracts helped me to appreciate the game so much more. Perhaps more importantly, they also taught me how to be a good writer, and how to be a good scientist -- lessons that remain valuable to me to this day.</description>

		<description>During one of my many moves I got rid of the 4-5 annual Baseball Abstracts.  Still kicking myself over that.

See Emma, you&#039;ve got it wrong.  Today I drove from the storm (which hit Virginia Sat night - Mon morn.) to Toledo.  Drive away from the storm, not towards it.  But it&#039;s frakking cold here.

BTW, did any of Cy Young&#039;s managers get criticized for over using him, leaving him in a game too long?</description>
