I think I might start including the words, "WordPress sucks" in all of my commentary, or at least once a day when I sign in. Get enough of those going and maybe SNY might actually get the picture.

Jets - Won, Jints - Done...

[4] Agreed that the Giants always find interesting ways to blow it and always have, but I think their overall success makes that palatable.

The Jets have managed to vary being boringly bad with being very very good and still managing to never break through.

[3] I don't deny that the Giants have enjoyed wonderful success. But no team--as far as I can tell--has the history bizarro losses as do the Giants. Other franchises may be worse in terms of championships or overall won-lost records. But what other team has had the litany of craziness that includes the Miracle at the Meadowlands, the Playoff Meltdown against the Niners, the Carl Banks bounces off Randall loss, the Osi doesn't wrap up Vince loss, the melt down two weeks ago, the Flipper Anderson loss, the last minute meltdown playoff loss to the Vikings, the meltdown two weeks ago, the break Theisman but give up multiple onside kick MNF loss to the 'Skins, the tipped pass MNF loss to the Cowboys, the last second blocked kick loss to the Bears....I could go on.

Watching the Giants is a particularly exquisite form of torture to which I will no longer expose myself.

As for suffering fans of other more hapless, though less theatrical, franchises (i.e., the Jets): more power to you.

[2] Wow - they've been to 4 Super Bowls in the last 25 years and won 3 of them! Try being a Jets fan, pal!

Te Giants are dead to me. Thirty plus years of goofy losses, colossal meltdowns and embarrassing underachieving finally added up to too much for me. Two weeks ago was the proverbial straw.
