I grew up hanging around a minor league ballpark in Auburn, NY and my buddies and I got to know Greg during his highly productive 1965 season and started a fan club in his honor. He was always very generous with his time and was a great ambassador for his team and baseball. RIP Greg. As it turns out, Phillips couldn't hit a breaking ball, Bean was big and fat and had no control, and I have no idea what Mitch Jones is doing any more. Sometimes the old baseball men really do know their baseball.
