His October/November line is meaningless when it comes to 3000, but it shows what a great player he's been for so long. 147 games, 679 PA, 20 HR, 57 RBI, .309 avg, .377 on base, .472 slugging, .850 ops. But he has been a pleasure to watch most of these years. I always felt that he wouldn't get rattled by the pressure. He may not have always come through but it wouldn't be because he was nervous.
