[2] Maybe…. but with this team, if a SP keeps us in the game, the O needs to get the Win.

We know this team doesn’t have ‘Great’ pitching. But we need to Win when it’s ‘Good enough’.

I know the have Team RISP, but I wonder if you can find it by game situation. IE: When behind, when tied, when ahead. I suspect the Yanks pad their RISP when they already have a big lead, but watching games, it seems to suck when they are behind.

And once again, the obligatory ‘tying run on base rally, while they still lose the game’ 9th inning rally.

While ARod’s numbers aren’t awesome, they still seem to have a gaping hole in the lineup when he’s out.

I don’t think Cashman can pull any Ninja magic this year.
This team will need to scratch and claw to get any further then the WC.

[0] Why do you think they should be frustrated given that the Red Sox lost? If the Red Sox had won, then instead of losing an opportunity to cut into the 2 1/2 game lead, they would have fallen 3 1/2 games behind. How bad, disappointing, or frustrating it is to lose doesn’t depend on what the Red Sox do.

It was far closer to the RH batter’s box than it was the edge of the plate.

Not that that’s any excuse for weak-ass hacking through the next semi-hanging breaking ball …
