They utterly shut down the best offense in baseball. D-Rob set down, in order, three of baseball's top hitters, surely the best three-in-a-row in any lineup. Soriano cruised; Mo was just Mo; Boone smoked Adrian on three pitches in a super-high-leverage situation. And Cory Wade. I mean, a bullpen just doesn't do that against the Red Sox. They score seven runs per game since the All Star break. Colon was fine, but the pen was just fantastic. Thinking it over, the best thing about the game was our bullpen.
