		<description>Love Delaney &amp; Bonnie, and their &quot;friends&quot; that included Eric Clapton, Leon Russell, Dave Mason, George Harrison, the Allman Brothers, and a raft of some of the best rock session players.  Their music was admired by many of rock royalty, but was not a huge commercial success.  

That being said, the version of this song by the Carpenters is the one that will forever be remembered.  As a teen, I was a rock lover and gave up on top 40 once &quot;Progressive FM&quot; took hold, but was a closet fan of the Carpenters.  It&#039;s nice to see them getting their due as important members of pop/rock history.</description>
