Let’s Go Yankees, Let’s Go NY Football Giants, and oh yeah…10 years today. Sad day.

I still remember the last game the Yanks played prior to 9/11 happening, it was the Mussina almost perfect game, where Everett got his stupid 2 out single in the 9th. The next day the Yanks were rained out. On Tuesday they were supposed to be playing the White Sox at the stadium.

i guess the yankees believed po’s concussions were not enough of a factor to keep him out of the game last night. because if they did you just lose the damn dh for one night.

Now let’s win some damn games!

I don’t give a rat’s ass about WHIP, frankly, as long as you can put a dent in innings pitched, and while we know CC can go 7,8,9 innings, 6 innings is decent.

Combine that with only giving up the one run and I give him a solid “B” for the evening.

Giving up only One Run was good, but his pitching in general was not.
When you throw 119 pitches in 6 IP with a WHIP of 2.0, I would say he pitched POORLY (considering this was CC… and it would have been not-so-good rven if it was Dice-K), but credit to the man as he was able to get critical outs when he needed them.

While we will all take giving up only One Run in 6 IP, I personally hope we don’t ever see CC pitch this ‘Good’ again.
