I'm not sure - there's just something compelling about the guy. Maybe because unlike Lennon, he didn't let his angst spill out all over the place, or like McCartney, totally tamp it down. He was just an interesting cat - curious that he among them was the one who built real relationships with other musicians outside the band. [2] Marty's track record on music docs has been pretty damned good, so I'm hoping for great stuff. [3] Yeah, there are some great moments therein - Billy Preston taking over "Isn't It A Pity" gave me goosebumps! George may have been the most interesting Beatle.
