[22] I saw that movie a bunch of times when I was a kid. Epic sequel fail. I hope whoever loses this series experiences a heart breaking game 7. That would be good for either side I suppose. Got to root for something.

Hard to root for anything Texas (maybe Willie Nelson et al) and LaRussa makes the game a frustrating bore with all the pitching changes. But you have to admit that he must be good, second most winning manager ever.

The Cardinals mean a lot to a large swath of the country, and are #2 to the Yankees in Championships.

We could be watching American Hoggers on A&E. But baseball it is, keeps the summer alive for as long as possible. The Yankees should be playing….

i gotta say even knowing that this is the way they been playing it, it’s still weird to see them both going to the bullpen at the this time….carpenter was looking good, wilson too. i wonder what these guys will have left by game five. i know it can be won or lost right here but it’s a bit of a bummer seeing these quick hooks.
