Another thing about “Glenn.” When they brought him up (from Chemical) to coach Import the leauge said to him “ok we’ll move Adam to your team”; He replied “no, that’s not fair.” It made me proud that Dad was not your “typical” little league father, and also that he knew I could handle it. Oh and thanks for the shoutout JD in NC.. We love ya in Mohegan.

And WaCo was Washington Engine Company. That was the thing: I don’t think there was “Fire Department,” I think the different companies (one of which was Chemical) each sponsored teams.

I know Croton Watch was little (“major”) league.

I can picture the plumbers in their light blue shirts. (Heavy, shiny polyester – I think it would have melted before burning – with fuzzy iron-on lettering from the Brick Shirthouse.) But I can’t remember the name. I even just tried to cheat by Google-mapping “plumber 10520″ and came up empty.

We may have to bring Tom and Adam into this. They should be on the Banter anyway. Let me email them.

Croton Crotch! Holy jesus.

Hey you would remember maybe, what were all the teams in little League. It was Fire Department, Import Corner, Century 21, J&S, Rotary… What was the team with light blue jerseys, a plumbing company I think? And was Croton Watch Little League or Minor League? My minor league team was Chemical.

Ben, this is fantastic no matter where you’re from. But you had this old Croton Watch first baseman at “Import Corner.”

As for Barry… you know Adam is still playing, in the local MSBL. You should check it out.
