[2] I’m with you (except for Texas); I’ve satisfied myself that I’m enough of a baseball fan to have a rooting interest in the outcome, though I would be far more interested if it were the Yanks. Still, you can’t deny that this has been kinda fun to follow, even from a distance. I’d be happy for Ron Washington if the Rangers won, but that’s about it. I have more reason to like St. Louis despite LaRussa who I don’t dislike, but I certainly don’t worship like the sports tabloids do. Either way, I won’t be mad at the outcome. When a World Series goes a full seven, it’s reason enough to take notice.

I’m happy. It’s been an exciting Series, and I’m more into it than most non-Yankees years. Kinda rooting for the Rangers. I’m an AL fan, and Napoli’s been a good story.
I hope it goes past midnight again.

Frost this morning. Winter’s a’coming, but one last baseball game before the deep sleep. I’m happy. Eh, more satisfied. Happy would be the Yankees playing Game 7. At home.
