i am torn on this guy. lefty, keeps the ball in the park, and thrived in really tough home ballpark. but i hate pitchers who walk everybody.

the truth is that the rotation has 5 spots, and 4 of them contain question marks and/or vacancies. and all of my arguments about getting lee last year (don’t care about the $, don’t worry about clogging up a spot as they yanks have only once or twice in the last several decades employed 5 good starters at the same time, and no other better options) hold here as well.

this pitcher isn’t as good as last year, but the state of the rotation is even worse considering hughes is less reliable than ever and aj confirmed he is guaranteed suck. between wilson and darvish, it’s lefty vs shiny new thing. i can’t say with any certainty which guy would be better.
