Also on the Ralph Finnes tip, it didn't snow when I saw Schindler's List, but it was one of the coldest days of the year. I remember how cold it was, walking home in silence to my apartment on the Upper East. My face froze and I remember hearing the wind howling outside my hood. I saw Scrooged in the snow I think. There was also a time when I lived on 30th st, near the Kips Bay theater. And I could walk there. And I have memories of trudging to the theater in the snow because it was so close. Don't remember what I saw there, just that the theater was mostly empty and it was a blast. Wow, great question.
