		<description>The Townes album I really love took me a while to find - Live at the Old Quarter, Houston. Townes at the peak of his powers as a singer, songwriter and storyteller. Hilarious, heartbreaking, great. 

So many great songwriters came out of Texas in that period - Townes, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff Walker (not a TX native, though), Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, et al
