[3] From what I understand it was not a lip sync it was there was a time delay on the feed, which is not unusual for performances in large venues. She was actually singing it there, but we were hearing a recording, if that makes since. The point is she did not record it somewhere else. It was an in-the-moment event.

Jesus, give the girl a break, anyway.

[5] yeah, it ain’t easy making a living as a musician. for events like that, people expect us to perform for the ‘honor’ of being part of such a ‘cool thing’ and we’re not compensated monetarily. for me, i couldn’t care less about the performing at a football game – “fuck you, pay me”!!! haha : )

that said, i did play at turner field once for no pay. got the royal treatment though, as far as having my gear towed, free food and free tickets in a super nice private room & box. plus, the band i worked with payed all the bills and more, so it was totally worth it…
