		<description>holy shit! Nola by Felix Arndt. how in the world do you know this obscure piece of music??? seriously, Alex - how do you know it?! unbelievable. very impressive, my friend.

i performed this as a xylophone solo in college. i played it a lot. i probably even did it with piano accompaniment, at some point. i still have part of it memorized and play it on the &#039;desktop&#039; xylophone that&#039;s set up at my drum studio.

the great George Hamilton Green arranged it for xylophone. The subtitle was shortened to &quot;A Silhouette&quot; and the tempo is decidedly slower, for mallets. great piece of music!

when i was in college and performed this at a &quot;jury&quot;, i had to give background on the piece and the composer. this was before &#039;google&#039; and it proved rather difficult to find information on the music and author.</description>
