Loved it. "The Artist" isn't as bad as "Crash" by a long shot because it's not some puffed up, pretentious "social issue" movie. It's charming in its way, it's just not THAT good. Was great to see Christopher Plummer win an Oscar. Confess that I was holding out for Terence Malick/Tree of life. Know it was a love/hate option and I just loved it with every fibre of my being. That such convivial tripe as "The Artist" (in name only) wins out, well that's nearly as bad as "Crash" winning....but I keep watching!! 4 – completely agree.

I hate Brett Ratner and I'm glad he wound up NOT producing the show, but I would have enjoyed seeing Eddie host. All the love for The Artist will seem puzzling a few years from now.
