[21] Spoiled brat? It's true that the family was seated in the lower level by the dugout, so they are probably affluent. But how do we know if the kid is spoiled?

He dressed in a uniform, wearing his cap and glove. I believe the ball was thrown to him and how traumatic that the big bad man next to him snatched it away. What tyke wouldn't be emotional about it?

We need to encourage kids to be baseball fans, not drive them away forever. That couple should be embarrassed...watch the tape!

The two numskulls say they didn't hear or see the boy?

I'm sorry. If a baby is less than six inches from you, screaming his head off, you'll hear it. Jagoff.

I guess I'm in the minority, here, but as cute as the kid was, he has "spoiled brat" written all over him.

"You can't always get what you want." My daughter knows that one by heart.

[18] I hate Schilling except when he has some news that is optimistic.
[17] I LOVE hockey. Especially the playoffs AND 3 game 7's in a few days. But to be honest, I grew up watching the Islanders on TV, but I adopted the Sabres after living out of NY for 10 years and moving back to Western NY. So I hate the Rangers and all the old school Patrick Division foes.

[16] Actually, I did watch the Caps and Bruins last night. I'm not a hockey-lover, but an NHL playoff game 7 is very, very intense.

I know this is far from a Hockey loving place, but there's a little game on tonight.

Go Rangers! (the NY Hockey kind, not the Texas lawman, or baseball team).

Alex, that's some great art you found on Faust Arp. Interesting site.
Does anybody know if it's directly associated with Radiohead? Or is it a fan's site.

Faust Arp is a great tune off the album iIn Rainbows, if you're not a Radiohead fan.

I'm so happy that kid got a ball. I was screaming at my TV last night, yelling at that couple and near tears for that little boy. I have a soft-spot for crying kids in situations like that.

Self centered Texans. The place where "don't fence me in" and "me first" were invented. I think the mentality is to overcompensate for the usurpation of their land from Mexico.

The Anglo Texans were based in east Texas, and really had no claim on the rest of the territory, but took it anyway.

Imagine if it had happened at Yankee Stadium? With all the TV's showing the YES broadcast that couple would have taken a beating. Fortunately, because of the power of the 'Net I'm sure the Deadspin notice will get back to the offenders. And they will likely wear it as a badge of honor.

[8] Now, that is funny!

Michael Kay has been outing douche bags who let kids cry because of baseball flaunting throughout his YES career. Singleton likes to feature (obsess about)them too.

Of course, this concept is nothing new. I once saw Johnny Damon specifically throw a baseball at an eager kid, he even pointed to him, only to have a cute college coed, throw herself in front of it, snare it and keep it to the shock and outrage of the crowd. She ignored everyone's ongoing audible comments and mal'occhio(this is NY we're talking about, including mine, and defiantly spent the whole game playing toss with herself. The kid looked rightly demoralized while his parents downplayed the event.

My first thought was that she was probably accustomed to getting what she wanted, when she wanted, child be damned.

Who said life was fair?
