What gets darker is that in 2013 we probably lose Kuroda, Pettite and Garcia. CC, Nova and Hughes will be all that’s left. Pineda was supposed to be a linchpin for the next few years. I hope Schilling is right and the kid comes out of rehab 100%. Schilling, despite being a dickwad, had a great work ethic so I believe what he’s saying.

That looks like a picture from a “where are they now” story about a player who crashed out of baseball a decade ago.

It’s counterproductive to my experience as a Yankee fan to dwell on this deal any longer, so I will get my thoughts in order for the recap tonight and try to be done with it. Yeesh, hope it’s a win or else it could be dark.
