There are several places like that that still exist in the Village, the Lower East Side, way uptown and popping up in (hipster) Brooklyn or hiding in (real) Brooklyn. The real problem I have is people acting like Midtown to Wall Street are the only &quot;real&quot; NYC. It&#039;s a huge place that still has a lot of character outside of those areas where gentrification hasn&#039;t completely taken hold.</description>
