He played Paul Revere and the wiffle ball bat lyric had us rolling. It was 1986 in the suburbs and I was in 6th grade. I have more Beastie Boy song memories than any other. Luckily, my wife loves them just as much. We drove to Toronto one time when I had tickets and we had broken up but I didn't know who else to ask. Old Maple Leaf garden and we were stuck in the corner and the sound sucked. We were talking about MCA tonight and she reminded me how in college her and her roommate won a lip sync contest for Pass the Mic. Ha. Growing old is a bitch. I missed the game tonight.
